Communication of Peter H. Mc
Carthy calling attention of the City
Council to his letter which was
presented and read at the Council
meeting of April 2, 1945 making
twenty-seven suggestions for fire
prevention`; at circuses, carnivals,
rooming houses and similar places
where large numbers of people
congregate and stating that in view
of the Hotel Canfield fire he is re-
newing all suggestions made in his
letter of April 2, 1945, presented
and read. Mr. Peter H. McCarthy
addressed the Council at some
length in support of his conununi-
c a t i on. Councilman Thompson
moved that the communication be
referred to the Council and Fire
Chief for further consideration.
