DATE: January 9, 2018
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the Grand River
Center North Parking Lot Repair Project was awarded on December 15, 2017, to Drew
Cook & Sons Excavating in the amount of$40,533.
Leisure Services Manager Marie Ware recommends that the award for the Grand River
Center North Parking Lot Repair Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City
Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: Grand River Center North Parking Lot Repair Project Award CIP 350-1516
DATE: January 8, 2018
The Grand River Center North Parking Lot Repair Project will provide for pavement
removal and replacement with new storm sewer where subgrade settlement has caused
water to pond in the parking lot and Veterans Drive. Additional joint repair will be
performed as budget allows on south side of the parking lot to resolve trip hazards and
extend pavement life.
The following is a summary of the bids received for the project:

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on December 15, 2017 to Drew Cook & Sons Excavating.
The project is funded as follows:
