Chairperson Mede Duehr Called the Civil Service meeting to order at 3:25 p.m. in the City Hail
Conference Room A.
Present: Chairperson Merle Duehr Jr., Commissioner Loras Kluesner
Absent: Commissioner Dick Wertzberger
Also Present: Randy Peck, Kim Wadding
1. Approve minutes of December 9, 2002 Civil Service Meeting
Commissioner Kluesner moved to approve the minutes of December 9, 2002.
Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
2. Establish Passing Scores for the Position of Assist Chief, Police Captain, and
Lieutenant
Commissioner Kluesner moved to go with Chief Klm Wadding's recommendation for
passing score for the following positions:
Assistant Chief 75%
Captain 70%
Lieutenant 72%
Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
The envelopes with names of the individuals with the passing scores were opened, read and
recorded. Commissioner Kluesner also moved the list be certified as read. Klm Wadding asked if
he could post the list of passing scores down at the Police Dept. and the Commissioners gave
their approval. It was noted that the individuals that took the test would be notified by letter on
their passing score and if they passed or failed the test.
There being no further business, Chairperson Duehr moved to adjourn at 3:45 p.m.
Seconded by Commissioner Kluesner, passed unanimously.
