Property Damage
This is a claim in which claimant states that City police backed into a fence on
claimant's property, located at 12th & Bluff.
According to the report of Kim Wadding, Chief of Police, this incident occurred on
November 16, 2001 at approximately 12:45 p.m. Officer turned into the lot at 12th & Bluff,
stdking a white picket fence located on the property. The investigating officer estimated
the fence damage to be approximately $50.00, and $250.00 damage to the front bumper
of police unit 1818.
However, claimant has failed to provide an estimate or a copy of a bill for the damage to
the fence. It is therefore the recommendation of Chief Wadding to deny this claim. The
Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.
