Duggan and Members of the City Council January 24, 2003 Claim Against the City By Catherine Steffen Date of Claim Date of Loss 01/24/03 01/16/03 Nature of Claim Vehicle Damage This is a claim in which claimant states that her vehicle was damaged after being struck by a Keyline Minibus, at the intersection of James Street and West 3rd Street. According to the report of Mark Munson, Transit Manager, a Keyline employee ddving Minibus f¢2551 was attempting to turn from James Street onto West 3rd Street, and struck claimant's vehicle. It is therefore the recommendation of Mark Munson to approve this claim for the amount of $485.24. The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation. He did mm a comer too short and clipped the Steffen vehicle. Hayes did receive a ticket. Hayes admitted fault. I do agree with Catherine Steffen claim for payment.
