StyleNear: c.1914-15, Craftsman style (narrow clapboard, battered dormer corners), Neo Classical (diamond lights in upper dormer window sash, leaded glass in centered small window on upper front, porch columns), pseudo- Foursquare type (overall near-cubic form but hip roof is elongated and not a pyramid form. This is an important transitional design, embodying several styles and an emerging form-or it is an old and trusted form being enhanced with two new styles! Physical Description: broad rectangular (25x33 with partly inset southwest corner rear wing, 11 '6"x13) two-story frame plan with hip roof, centered entry with small transom, with unusual use of flanking large windows that are identical on both front levels. The small centered hall or closet window is very unusual in the city. There is a centered hip roof dormer and a two-story rear solarium wing and porch. The full-width porch (8x30) is likely original with tapered round columns. Alterations: Permits note re-roofings in 1940, 1996, complete interior resurfacing and replacement of support beam 2000. Landscaping/Setting: terrace setting, fronts north, ground rises to the west. 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: Original Owner/Builder: E. W. O'Meara Building History: W. P.
