1. Election of Chairperson
Motion by Schilling to elect Dan White as Chairperson. Seconded by Takes. Motion
carried 3-0.
2. Approve Minutes of July 10, 2009
Motion by Schilling to approve the minutes of July 10, 2009 as printed. Seconded by
White. Motion carried 3-0.
3. Establish Passing Point and Certify List for the Position of Police Chief
Motion by Schilling to establish the passing point for the position of Police Chief at 71
and above. Seconded by White. Motion carried 3-0. Motion by Schilling to certify the
list of eleven candidates as read. Seconded by Takes. Motion carried 3-0.
4. Establish Passing Point for the Position of Police Corporal
Motion by Schilling to establish the passing point for the position of Police Corporal at
67 and above. Seconded by Takes. Motion carried 3-0. Schilling read the list of passing
candidates into the record.
5. Re-Certify List for Position of Police Officer
Motion by Schilling to re-certify the list for the position of Police Officer due to a change
in State law regarding veterans' preference. Seconded by Takes. Motion carried 3-0. It
was noted that the original certification date of July 10, 2009 would be maintained.
6. Establish Passing Point and Certify List for the Position of Equipment Operator II
Motion by Takes to establish the passing point for the position of Equipment Operator II
at 82 and above correct answers. Seconded by Schilling. Motion carried 3-0. Motion
by Takes to certify the list as read. Seconded by Schilling. Motion carried 3-0.
