7. Narrative Description:
This property is located in the Jackson Park Historic District. Style/Year: c.1915, bungalow
Physical Description: this is the rear wing of a building that fronts onto Locust Street, immediately to the
east. It is a single-story L-plan with returned eaves, a broken pediment and oculus attic light. There is
a south end entry and small porch.
Alterations: No permit data.
Landscaping/Setting:
8. Narrative Statement of Significance:
Building History: The D. S. Wilson Estate owned the parcel when it was first sewered. The tap date is
August 26, 1910.
1240 Bluff first appears as an address in 1926 directory.
