Narrative Description: This property is located in the Jackson Park Historic District. Style/Year: pre-1889, Italianate house plan remodeled perhaps as Craftsman c.1910 and more recently as Neo Classical. Designer/Builder: original two-story side gable rectangular brick plan had paired narrow Italianate windows and symmetrical fenestration. Roof was probably low profile sans any dormers. The c.1910 make-over put on a steeper jerkinhead roof with two taller flanking jerkinhead roof dormes and a low- profile middle one, a south end chimney, a south brick wing and second floor frame solarium. Any porch was removed and the present full-width concrete deck likely also dates to this period. At some point a Georgian entry and exaggerated faux lintels and sills were added. Alterations: as noted above. No permit data. th Landscaping/Setting: moderate terrace setting, prominent siting at heat of 16 Street, building fronts east. 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: Building History: C. Bayless owned the parcel when it was first sewered 9.
