I have previously notified you that the Dubuque City Board of Review has five appeals before the
Property Assessment Appeal Board in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to those five cases we have
three appeals before the Iowa District Court. These three appeals are:
1) Callahan Construction - a vacant lot of future residential development ground off of
Seippel Road assessed at $153,000. The petition asks for the property to be reduced to $7,958.
2) Callahan Construction - an 11 car brick garage located on Pleasant View Drive assessed
at $60,000. The petition asks for the property to be reduced to $30,000.
3) Kohl's Department Store -located at 2595 Northwest Arterial Drive assessed at
$5,816,500. The petition asks for the property to be reduced to $4,905,477.
