Narrative Description: Architectural Style And Key Stylistic Elements: ltalianate two-story hip roof plan, cut stone foundation, wooden water table, elaborate window surrounds, brackets, through-cornice dormers, rounded in front, double-decker west by larger on lower level, oriole on second floor on rear west wall, rear corner side porches, Physical Description: Core, 36x38, 18x24 rear wing, unusual paired window sets with centered semi-circular pediments, brackets are combined with ornate purlin or modillion extensions, broad eaves, square-cut broad centered pediments (gable fronts with returned eaves, round attic lights) on front and sides, east wing has very unusual ground level projection set beneath a bracketed cornice, stone foundation, Alterations: Converted into apartments by 1930, two-story wrap-around porch lost in 1950s, Outbuildings: None Landscaping Notes: Level corner lot, fronts north Evaluation: Key building, individually eligible House surveyed by Kriviskey in 1979, rated "2" as an excellent example of a well designed structure in a popular mid-late 19th C style," 8.
