Architectural Style And Key Stylistic Elements:
Vernacular high profile broad two-story brick side gable duplex, raised stone foundation, walkout
basement, hip roof front dormer, brick veneer, paired centered entries.
Physical Description:
33x30 core, cut stone fac;ade water table, straight stone basement window lintels, walkout front east,
wrap-around stone lintels with spring stones fac;ade only, rowlock rounded arches on sidewalls, 4/4
lights
Alterations:
New porch, dormer added.

On bluff front, land rises to the south

Historical Notes:
William Hintrager builds brick residence at 3rd and Cardiff in 1886, and five two-story brick dwellings,
the latter costing $6,000 in 1887 (Herald, January 20, 1886, January 1, 1887).
