Architectural Style And Key Stylistic Elements:
Italianate style hip roof core L-plan, side hall (left, paired doors) plan, with built out second level over
porch, stucco over brick core, paired brackets, brick voussoir arches, Palladian window to west, two
chimneys on east sidewall
Physical Description:
Wing to front right, 22x30 core, frame rear wing, porch in front left corner, narrow clapboard on porch
Alterations:
Upper porch (former double decker?) enclosed, brick painted
Building Permit Cards:
1938 - general repairs to brick dwelling - owner: N. Grommersch
1982 - repairs to front porch-owner: Terry Stewart
1983- reroof back porch, replace siding-$4000
1983-repair roof, replace windows, 2nd floor porch-$3000
1986 - replace rear porch-owner: Terry Stewart-$3200-contractor: Koerperich.
Outbuildings:
30x12 tar paper covered side gable L-plan shed, attached to west rear.
Landscaping Notes:
On shelf, stone retaining wall, fronts south.
