Present: Mayor Buol, Council Members Braig, Connors, Jones, Resnick, Voetberg, City Manager Van Milligen, City Attorney Lindahl Council Member Braig left the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Council Member Resnick left the meet- ing at 6:55 p.m. Absent: Council Mem- ber Lynch Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council to conduct a work session regard- ing the East / West Corridor Connectivity Study. roject Manager Stevd Brown provided a brief history of the study. Will Sharp of HDR, Inc., 8404 Indian Hills Drive, Omaha, Nebras- ka, introduced the proj- ect's core team of Tara garner, Chris Malmberg, and Julie Neebel (IIW Engi- neers). Discussion included complete streets, en- hanced pedestrian crosswalks, round- about statistics and pro -active public awareness, bike/car sharrows and signage, limited property ac- quisition and assess- ment issues. John Adams, Board of Trustees for Hillcrest Family Services, 2005 Asbury Road, spoke re- garding the potential impact construction will have on the agen- cy's imminent plans to buiid'a new chapel.
