AGREEMENT FOR CLEANING, HOUSEKEEPING,
AND/OR JANITORIAL SERVICES
This Agreement, dated for reference purposes the j 6 day of
2018, is made between the City of Dubuque, Iowa, (hereafter known as "ity") -. nd Kim
Herrig, (hereafter known as "Herrig"). City desires to have certain cleaning,
housekeeping, and/or janitorial services, described below, performed upon City's
premises located at 300 Main Street, Suite 330, Dubuque, Iowa, 52001.
Therefore, the parties hereby agree as follows:
1. City shall grant Herrig access to the above -referenced premises during regular
business hours and other mutually agreeable times.
2. City shall pay Herrig $78.50/week for services to be performed one day/week and
no other compensation, insurance, or other benefits of any kind.
3. The Term of this Agreement is from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
4. Services to be performed by Herrig include vacuuming of carpets and rugs; dusting
and polishing of furniture and decorations; cleaning of bare floors, interior office windows,
kitchen appliances, sink, and water fixtures located on City's premises. Herrig shall
provide all equipment and supplies necessary for the services.
5. Herrig shall begin performing services on 07/01/2018. Thereafter, services shall
be performed on a schedule to which the parties agree. Herrig is, and shall remain during
the term of this Agreement, an independent contractor with respect to the performance of
the obligations hereunder and in Herrig's relationship to City
6. Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice to the other party.
Any payment for services rendered owed by City shall be due and payable at the time
this Agreement is terminated.
