Signed Contracts_Ferguson Group (EECBG)r , THE FERGUSON GROUPj,. � ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT (EECBG) STRATEGIC / GRANTWRITING SERVICES Pursuant to this Agreement, the City of Dubuque (hereinafter referred to as "the City ") and The Ferguson Group, L.L.C. (hereinafter referred to as "TFG "), agree to assume the following obligations: 1. OBLIGATIONS OF TFG: A. '1'FU will provide strategic advice on the development of the City's EECBG concept. B. TFG will manage the EECBG grant preparation process and prepare a schedule for its timely completion. C. TFG will plan for and participate on weekly conference calls with the City's EECBG team, D, TFG will write and edit the City's EECBG grant application, E. TFG will liaison with the City's Congressional delegation and will assist the delegation in supporting the City's EECBG grant application. F. TFG will counsel the City regarding appearances with federal agencies and will arrange for appointments end accommodations for City personnel as necessary. G. TFG will undertake additional activities necessary to obtain the most favorable consideration of the City's EECBG grant application. 2. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CITY;. A. The City will pay TFG $22,500 to complete the scope of work. B. The City will supply TFG with all background materials necessary for the completion of the EECBG grant application. C. The City will reimburse TFG for: (1) all travel expenses incurred by TFG outside of Washington, D.C. at the request of /approval by the City; (2) all incidental Washington, D.C. expenses incurred in the course of conducting City business; (3) all long distance telephone expenses; and (4) the costs of document production required by the City. 3. TITHER PARTY MAY TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME BY GIVING THE OTHER AT LEAST THIRTY (30) DAYS' NOTICE IN WRITING OF SUCH TERMINATION.
