Project (CIP 350 1158)
DATE: September 11 , 2018
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the Eagle Point
Park Watermain Extension and Water Service Replacement Project was awarded on
August 24, 2018, to Mainline Excavation Co., Inc., in the base bid amount of$78,903.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the Eagle Point Park
Watermain Extension and Water Service Replacement Project be officially recorded in
the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: Eagle Point Park Watermain Extension and Water Service Replacement
Project (CIP 350 1158)
DATE: September 10, 2018
The Eagle Point Park Watermain Extension and Water Service Replacement Project will
involve the installation of 6' PVC watermain and appurtenances, 4" PVC Water Service
extension to existing restroom, installation of water meter, backflow preventer, valving
for water service manifold, removal of existing booster and water service on exterior of
restroom, and reconnecting of interior plumbing in restroom to new service, installation
of Muni-Pex water services in plan locations, installation of drinking fountains and
hydrants in plan locations and water service connection to existing wading pool.
MSA Professional Services Inc., prepared an RFP for the project. Bids were received
on August 14th, 2018. Bid results were as follows:
