Henricks reported that the end of May marked 92% of t�e fiscal year lapsing. Comparing Overdrive, Flipster(then Zinio) and � Freegal to checkouts in May of 2017, �verdrive increased by ' 13.7%, Zinio/Flipster decreased 5.3%, and Freegal increased 3.3% in 2018. � , � a 2 ; � Henricks reported that the June campaign features the $400+ prize giveaway for interacting with C-SPL. If the June campaign is successful, we can expect to see increases in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, sign-up for newsletters, Qverdrive, Freegal, Flipster, and web visits as well as in-person visits to the Maker Space. Additional advertising of the homebound delivery service and recruit�nent of volunteers and the fine free trial will take place in July. B. Comment Cards— No comment cards were r�ceived. Fr�r�k Honigrr�an Beques� Pr�ject Funding — Henricks reported t�at Frank Honigman's est�t� bequeat�ed $15,000 last year t� the Library, which was used to enhance the e-Book collection. Recently, t�e L�brary w�s notif�ed of an additional gift of $21,583.83 at the closing of his estate. l�enricks provided a recomm�ndat�on for prflject fUnding of a Whisper Room {a portabie sound-proof roor�) using the Fr�nk Honigman bequest. The Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) awarded part�al funding and the Library Foundation pledged a contribution of $5,000. �he addit�onai Honigman funds will allow for t�e purchase of any equipment needed for the room otherwise not available due to the reduced grant awar�.
