PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING / TOUR

PRESENT: Matthew Garrett, Richard Kirkendall, Rebecca Kuhle, Jennifer
Tigges and Ray Werner
ABSENT: Robin Kennicker
STAFF PRESENT: Marie Ware, Steve Fehsal and Dan Kroger
MINUTES APPROVED; VOTE:
It was moved by Werner, seconded by Tigges, to approve the minutes of the
August 14, 2018 meeting with wording change to Fire Ordinance — wrong words
were crossed out. Unanimous.
USAGE AGREEMENT WITH HILLCREST FAMILY SERVICES FOR MURPHY
PARK; VOTE:
Hillcrest Family Services requested to renew their agreement to provide
Reflections in the Park at Murphy Park. The proposed agreement is the same
as last year with date changes and current insurance information.
It was moved � Garrett, seconded �Werner to recommend approval of the
Usaqe Aqreement with Hillcrest Family Services to hold Reflections in the Park
at Murphv Park. Unanimous.
TOUR OF PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES:
Commissioners and staff boarded van to visit the following department facilities:
McAleece ballfields and facilities, Miller Riverview Campground, various
buildings in Eagle Point Park, Pinard Park, Comiskey Park and Burden Park.
Van returned to All Veterans Memorial close to 7:00 p.m.
