Re: Part-time Marketing Coordinator for Library
The library contracted with Red Rokk Digital Marketing for a campaign in 2018. The
contract expires December 31, 2018. In the contract we requested that Red Rokk
provide the training and tips so that library staff could pick up the campaign when Red
Rokk is finished.
The campaign has been successful, but it is apparent that the workload is too great for
library staff to take on after December. Red Rokk has sent a quote to continue their
work for $47,000, which is equal to 313 hours of their time. The Library Board believes
that a part-time employee can manage this campaign as well as contribute a great deal
to the library's other marketing efforts.
The Library Board of Trustees approved funding this position from the James Mutschler
Trust Fund for a two-year time period. The Board will evaluate whether the position will
continue near the end of the two-year time.
Thank you.
