This is a claim in which claimant alleges that while it was performing the contracted
work for the Locust Street Reconstruction Project for the City of Dubuque at the
intersection of Locust & 11 Streets, the street gave way causing a sinkhole in the
street. As a result, the milling machine owned by Iowa Base Milling, Tschiggfrie
Company's subcontractor, fell into a city storm sewer, causing in a loss of revenue for
Tschiggfrie Co. and its subcontractor.
This claim has been referred to Public Entity Risk Services of Iowa, the agent for the Iowa
Communities Assurance Pool.
