SUBJECT: Industrial Electronics Technician
DATE: January 14, 2019
Water and Resource Recovery Center Manager William O'Brian is requesting that the
vacant Maintenance Electrician position at the Water and Resource Recovery Center be
reclassified and retitled as an Industrial Electronics Technician. This would be the same
civil service classification as Electronic Technician. The Electronic Technician at the
Water and Resource Recovery Center would also be retitled as an Industrial Electronics
Technician.
Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommends City Council approval to eliminate one
Maintenance Electrician position and create one Industrial Electronics Technician
position in the Water and Resource Recovery center.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.
