AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES
Commissioner Clemenson moved to approve the minutes of the June 25, 2018 meeting
and Commissioner Blocker seconded the motion. AYES: All. NAYES: None.
OLD BUSINESS
01. REVIEW STATISTICS
Various statistics were reviewed. The impact on the enplanements due to the
temporary removal of the third daily American Airlines flight and the return of the
flight at a different time was discussed.

02. FFY19 ACIP AMENDMENT RESOLUTION
Commissioner Blocker motioned to accept Resolution A41000-1-2018, Amendment
of the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Capital Improvement Program
Application for the Dubuque Regional Airport Commission and Commissioner
Clemenson seconded the motion. AYES: ALL. NAYES: None.
03. MASTER PLAN UPDATE GRANT RESOLUTION
Commissioner Clemenson motioned to accept Resolution A1100-1-2018,
Authorizing FAA Grant Agreement for Airport Master Plan Update, ALP, AGIS
Project. Commissioner Blocker seconded the motion. AYES: ALL. NAYES: None.
DISCUSSION
04. MANAGER'S UPDATE
The Airport Manager notified the Commission that KCRG-TV aired two news
reports about the Airport-one on the pilot shortage and one on TSA considering no
longer screening at small airports. The Airport has met with new restaurant
operators and is hoping to have the restaurant operational by mid-August.
The Airport had a very busy July with the July 2"d viewing of aircraft from the July
3�a Air Show; Fly Day at the Mississippi River Museum; NATA week; President
Trump visit; University of Dubuque construction is ongoing; and entrance signs are
being installed for the New Terminal and General Aviation. The Airport Open
House will be held on September g�n
The Airport Commission and Airport Staff thanked Steve Accinelli for his last 16
years of service serving as a Commissioner and Commission Chairperson.

The next scheduled Commission meeting tentative date is September 24, 2018 at 4:00
p.m.
