City Conference Board Meeting
January 14, 2010
On January 14, 2010 the members of the Dubuque City Conference Board met in the
Dubuque Board of Supervisor’s Chambers, Dubuque County Courthouse,
Dubuque, Iowa. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the union contract with the
City Conference Board negotiator John Ganshirt.
The following people were present for the meeting, Wayne Demmer, Eric Manternach
and Donna Smith all County Supervisors, along with Ric Jones a City Council member.
Also present were John Ganshirt, negotiator for the City Conference Board, Mary Ann
Specht, Personnel Director for Dubuque County, and Dubuque City Assessor, Rick
Engelken.
Mr. Ganshirt presented the current status of negotiations with the union and requested
recommendations to negotiate a contract.
Discussions followed regarding other union contracts and the current economic climates.
Recommendations were then given to Mr. Ganshirt.
