SUBJECT: 2019 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Three
DATE: May 28, 2019
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2019 Asphalt
Overlay Access Ramp Project Three was awarded on May 23, 2019, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc., in the base bid amount of$110,110.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2019 Asphalt Overlay
Access Ramp Project Three be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

RE: 2019 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Three
The 2019 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Three will provide for the removal,
realigr�ment and reconstruction of corner access ramps in the area of Pinard Street,
Pasadena Drive and Southern Avenue. The project will coincide with the Public Works
Department Street Overlay Program.
The City received one bid for the 2019 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Three:

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on May 23, 2019 to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Dubuque, lowa, in the base bid
