Ware, Leisure Services Manager SUBJECT: Four Mounds Foundation Work Session Presentation DATE: June 11, 2019 INTRODUCTION The purpose of this memorandum is to share the presentation for the City Council Work Session from Four Mounds Foundation. DISCUSSION The City leases Four Mounds Park to the Four Mounds Foundation. This partnership started in 1988. This has been a very valued partnership for the City. The Four Mounds Foundation staff asked to share updates with the City Council on their work. They continue to improve the grounds and facilities located there and have been providing programming to our community. Several years ago the City Council supported the Foundation with some dollars for strategic planning. The Foundation has leveraged and grown from that planning investment. Four Mounds Board member Ben Bartels, Operations and Marketing Manager Jill Courtney as well as Ellen Goodmann Miller, consultant to the Four Mounds Board will be making the presentation at the work session. ACTION REQUESTED I respecffully request the presentation be shared with the Council prior to the Work Session. attachment di ° ; s , ,,; :; o. . -,7 r + . ,,hh ,1 ;R 4 J S "Nu` 5 ':6.
