Services will be performed by our team, incfuding B(ackstone, IIW, P.C., Saiki Design, and Fitzgerald Deconstruction and ReUse (FDR), (Tearn) in accordance with the Purpose and Scope of Services described below and our City of Dubuque Master Services Agreement for Professional Environmental Consulting Services for the West Blum Site fully executed on ; September 27, 2018 and the terms and fees in this Work Order. '� ; � PURPOSE The West Blum site extends from 15th Street to 16th Sfreet, and from the west boarder of Elm � Street to the East boarder of the Railroad property. The site has been used as a scrap yard and ;i!, storage area, and is contained from adjoining public and private properties by fencing, buildings, � and partial buildings. The project will provide drawings and specifications to be used in ;; deconstructing existing structures, removing plants, rubble and debris, removing public and i ` private utilities. Existing utilities are required to be abandoned for the proposed site in � accordance with �ity Stan�ards �r�d :;i�y corrirr�er�ts. �xisting kn�wn utilities incle�de: water � services for�both typical water service and fire protection, also anticipated is sanitary sewer '' service lines to the existing buildings. Atidi�ionally the proj��t will define the �oriic�s oi i�e � existing structures to be salvaged in place or salvaged and stored for future reuse. The final � site will include a gravel cap that will match existing grade, a fence containing the site, and ;; stabilized masonry walls. Submittals required by the specification will be reviewed, and up to (5) '� onsite visits including a preconstruction meeting. SketchUp Model & Rendering Modifications Based on April 2019 Concept (Finalized 5/10/2019) G. Site Deconstruction 1. Document existing conditions for document preparation including photographs. Incorporate abatement information and details into the construction drawings. 2. Structural engineer will visit the site up to 3 times to observe existing conditions to facilitate evaluations and provide guidance during remediation, if necessary. Evaluate the existing brick courtyard wall and provide stabilization recommendations. 3. Evaluate the existing water and sewer utilities included on the site to be abandoned. Coordinate with City staff on the expectations for the utility. abandonments. Determine the required abandonment procedure necessary for each utility to be abandoned. 4. Up to 3 meetings to consult with the City to define and clarify the requirements for the Project. 5. Prepare technical specifications. 6. Prepare construction drawings including a site deconstruction and modification plan, civil site plan, general building floor plans, and general building section, civil plan sheet detailing the requirements for the utility abandonments. 7. Project management and internal coordination. Estimate and advise on building material salvage incorporated into bidding documents. 8. Meeting and site visit to tag salvaged materials. H. Building Stabilization 1. Document existing conditions for document preparation including photographs, building measurements and compilation of readily available information. Prepare existing floor plans and exterior building elevations 2. Prepare technical specifications 3. Prepare construction drawings including a site plan, floor plans, demolition plans, roof plan, and exterior building elevations with associated details and notes. 4. Site Quantities Estimate 5. Up to 3 meetings to consult with the City to define and clarify the requirements for the Project. 6. Provide regulatory coordination including review of City ordinances and building code requirements. I. Construction Administration 1. Review of any submittals being required by the specification, a punch list will be completed at the completion of construction. Attend a pre-bid meeting. Answer bidder questions and issue addenda to clarify, correct, or change bidding documents. Review of any submittals being required by the specification. 2.
