The purpose of this memorandum is to request your signature on the attached contract
rider between the City of Dubuque and Kone Incorporated for elevatar service and '�;
repair needs. '
DISCUSSION: I�';'
The City of Dubuque has approximately 19 elevators rnaintained by three vendors. The ;
City has not farmally tried to consolidate our elevator service in the past due to the need
for numeraus contracts to came fiogefiher all at once. Over the past year Finance has j
worked with Barry Lindahl, Senior Counsel, to create a renewal agreement to utilize the '
competitive bid US Communities pricing for Kone Incorporated. This will not only enable �';
the City to realize savings as noted in the past, but alsa allow the City to add elevators !,'�
to the main agreement as they expire from other vendar agreements. ;i

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Please sign the attached rider agreement adding two elevatars to the City's main
