Van Milligen, City Manager Gus Psihoyos, City Engineer FROM: Bob Schiesl, Assistant City Engineer 2[]� DATE: September 5, 2019 SUBJECT: Acceptance of Storm Water Detention Lot in English Ridge Subdivision INTRODUCTION The enclosed material provides for City Council acceptance of the storm water detention lot that the developer, English Ridge, LLC, is dedicating in English Ridge Subdivision in the City of Dubuque, lowa. BACKGROUND As a condition of subdivision plat approval through Resolution No. 31-09, the developer of English Ridge Subdivision was required meet certain conditions with regards to the storm water detention area labeled Lot A, prior to the lot dedication to the City. The storm water detention facility improvements were accepted by the City on July 15, 2019 by Resolution No. 256-19. DISCUSSION English Ridge, LLC has requested the City's acceptance of the dedication of Lot A to the City. Upon inspection by the City Staff, it has been determined that all conditions required per SEction 4 of Resolution No. 31-09 have been completed and met. RECOMMENDATION I would, therefore, recommend that the City Council accept the attached Warranty Deed to and the dedication of Lot A of English Ridge Subdivision to the City. ACTION TO BE TAKEN The City Council is requested to adopt the attached resolution accepting the Warranty Deed to and dedication of Lot A in English Ridge Subdivision.
