INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memorandum is to request City Council approval of the proposed
pet park fees included in the Fiscal Year 2011 budget.

An Improvement Level Request was included in the Fiscal Year 2011 Park Division
budget requesting that annual and daily fees be initiated for use of the Pet Park on
North Grandview Avenue. Fees would be set as follows:
Annual passes will be available for purchase at the Leisure Services Department office,
Health Services office, City Hall and via the city's web page. A self - registration station
will be available for daily users at the Pet Park.
ACTION REQUESTED
The action requested is that the City Council adopt the attached resolution approving
the fees for use of the Pet Park.

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PET PARK USER FEES
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque provides a Pet Park on North Grandview Avenue,
and;
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque desires to establish a daily and annual user fee for
the Pet Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque desires to offer a daily and annual user fee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA:

Effective the 1st day of May, 2010, the Pet Park user fees shall be as follows:
Daily user fee $ 1.00
Annual resident permit fee $25.00
Annual nonresident permit fee $35.00
