WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque is your local, nonprofit Hospice serving the Tri-State
Area's terminally ill and their loved ones for over 36 years; and
WHEREAS, Hospice is about life---the comfort and the quality of life; and
WHEREAS, Hospice care is individualized and provided by a team of healthcare
professionals delivering comprehensive care centered on patient goals;
and
WHEREAS, Hospice is a service that comes to you in the place you call home; and
WHEREAS, Hospice is for the entire family, now and later; and
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque is your "Hometown Hospice " since 1983.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO
HEREBY PROCLAIM THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2019, AS:
"HOSPICE MONTH"
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AND INVITE THE DUBUQUE COMMUNITY TO
BECOME AN EXTENSION OF THESE HELPING HANDS THAT TOUCH THE LIVES
OF OUR TRI-STATE NEIGHBORS AT A MOST DIFFICULT AND VULNERABLE TIME.
TOGETH ER WE WI LL MAKE A DI FFERENCE.
