Aviles, President and CEO/ Dubuque Racing Association Issue: Replacement of Main Entrance Concrete As required in the Amended and Restated Lease Agreement between the City of Dubuque and the Dubuque Racing LTD., I am formally requesting City approval to replace the concrete to the left and right of the main valet canopy. The concrete is breaking up due to settling. The recommendation is to spend $38,928 with the low bid from Quality Concrete Construction. The source of the funding for this project is the Depreciation and Improvement Fund (D&I Fund), which has a balance of$1,068,384.71 and an available amount of$818,384.17. The required minimum for the D&I Fund is $250,000 per the City/DRA Lease Agreement. If you require additional information or further clarification, please contact me.
