Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Cavanagh, Jones, Resnick, Rousell, Shaw, Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, City Attorney Brumwell Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called for the purpose of conducting a closed session on pending litigation pursuant to Chapter 21 .5(1)(c) Code of lowa SPECIAL SESSION Closed Session - Pending Litigation — Chapter 21 .5(1)(c) Code of lowa: Motion by Jones to convene in closed session at 6:01 p.m. to discuss pending litigation pursuant to Chapter 21 .5(1)(c) of the Code of lowa. Seconded by Resnick. Mayor Buol stated for the record that the attorneys who will consult with City Council on the issues to be discussed in the closed session are City Attorney Crenna Brumwell, Senior Counsel Barry Lindahl, Attorney Les Reddick, and Attorney Todd Stevenson. Motion carried 7-0. Having been duly updated, upon motion, the City Council reconvened in open session at 8:06 p.m. There being no further business, Mayor Buol declared the meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m. /s/Kevin S.
