Proclam St. Mark Ctr Appre Day
WHEREAS, since December 1, 1988, St. Mark Community Center has existed to
work with children and families of Dubuque to fulfill some of their
unmet needs; and
WHEREAS, the St. Mark Community Center’s Board, Staff and Volunteers are
dedicated to furthering the total learning experience of all people in
Dubuque; and
WHEREAS, St. Mark Community Center has continued to provide various forums
for civic involvement, participation and education; and
WHEREAS, St. Mark Community Center will host a picnic during our city’s June
th
“Music in Jackson Park” on June 28, 2003 to celebrate their 15
Anniversary of support from the citizenry, businesses and governing
bodies of Dubuque.
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERRANCE M. DUGGAN, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA DO HEREBY PROCLAIM THAT SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 2003 BE
DESIGNATED AS:
“ST. MARK COMMUNITY CENTER’S APPRECIATION DAY
TO THE COMMUNITY”
IN DUBUQUE, IOWA AND URGE SUPPORT OF THE CENTER’S MYRIAD
PROGRAMS AND THEIR DESIRE TO SHOW THEIR APPRECIATION TO THIS
