To the Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Dubuque. Gentlemen: At the annual meeting of the Cen- tral Aveune Business Men's Ass'n., held Jan. 21st, 1930, the question of a time limit for parking 011 Central Avenue was brought up and dis- cussed. A motion was passed unanimously to the effect that the association go on record as opposing the establish- ment of any time limit for parking on Central Avenue. We feel, with the single street car track north of 13th Street and no car track south of 13th Street, that the present conditions do not war- rant the establishment of a time limit at this time. We hope that your Honorable Body will not include such a rule in the revised traffic regulations. Yours very truly, Central Ave. Business Men's Ass'n. By Theo. V. Haas, Sec'y. The matter was laid over until later in the meeting.
