State law requir%s the City to notify you in the event of either voluntary or involuntary
annexation applications to allow for your comments to be considered: A public hearing
has been scheduled for June 24, 2003 at 7:00 P.tVL at Asbury City Hall (5080 Asbury
Road).

Should you have any comments or concerns regarding this voluntary annexation, this
notification advises you of your oppommiiy to comment. Please be advised that the City
Clerk should receive any written communication or request to address the City Council
by June 20, 2003 at 5:00 P.M. to meet the City Council agenda deadline for the Tuesday,
June 24, 2003 public hear/ng.

Pursuant to the directive of the City Council of the City of Asbury, IA, notice is hereby
given to the parties interested and citizens of said city that on the 24~ day of June, 2003 at
7:00 P.M. at the Asbury City Hall, 5080 Asbu~ Road, Asbury, IA, the City Council will hold a
public hearing to take action on the f611owing voluntary annexation request:
1. The northeast ¼ of the northeast ¼, and Lot 1 of Lot 1 of the southeast ¼ of the north
east ¼, in Section 25, Township 89 North, Range 1 East of the 5~ P.M.,
2. Lot 1 of the southwest ¼ of the northwest ¼, and Lot 2 of the southeast ¼ of the
northwest ¼, in Section 30, Township 89 North, Range 2 East of the 5~ P.IV[, and,
3. Lot 2 of the southeast ¼ of the northeast ¼ in Section 25, Township 89 North, Range
