There are three contiguous areas of opposition within 200 feet of the subject property, as shown on the attached map. We have included the petition in opposition filed at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2. We have included the rescission of opposition for Mr. and Mrs. Salwolke, 4741 Asbury Court Place, filed by QHQ at 4:58 p.m. on Monday, June 2. The first area includes the properties at 4760 Asbury Court Place, 4917 and 4911 Twilight Drive and 2425 and 2465 Samantha Drive. This area of opposition totals 85,233 square feet. The second area of opposition is 2360 Samantha Drive with a total of 17,236 square feet. The third area of opposition includes the properties at 2200, 2220, 2240, 2260, 2280 and 2300 Samantha Drive. This area totals 43,012 square feet. The total area in opposition equals 145,481 square feet. The area of opposition therefore equals 20.76% of the 700,559 square feet within 200 feet of the proposed rezoning area. It will require a super-majority of Council members to approve a rezoning for this property. This memo is provided for your information.
