We are keenly aware that our students have all had interrupted learning these past months. As a leading informal learning partner for the Dubuque community and the region, the River Museum's proposal to create a robust online learning program to provide equitable access to continued cultural exploration of Museum collections is of great value to the continued success of our learning community. The Museum's proposed idea adds another node of learning to the City of Dubuque's efforts to provide at-risk and in-need neighborhoods with the broadband, technology, and the access they need to provide an equitable opportunity for learning. Dubuque's City Council has identified equity as an overarching framework for all of its decisions and for determining its goals and priorities. We believe that the Museum's proposed online learning project aligns with the Council's approach. We appreciate your vision and partnership in creating an equitable community of choice and look forward to our continued work together in service of our residents. SinG ely, f f RD. Buol M:yor
