Dear City Council Members:
In light of celebrating our 26 year of Live Racing at Dubuque Greyhound Park, we would like to
commemorate this special year with a big "bang "! Therefore, I am writing to ask your approval to use
city property and put on a Fireworks Display that would take place on June 5, 2010.
Upon desired approval from the City, the fireworks display will be coordinated by Flashing Thunder, out
of Mitchell, Iowa; the same company that coordinates the annual July 4 Jaycee's Display. We have
submitted the Special Event Permit Application Form and attached a diagram of the prospective
launching location for your review.
