The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 4:00 p.m. on August 11, 2020 at
the Grand River Center, 500 Bell Street, Room 4.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, mandates for social distancing and face coverings
were enforced for all attendees.
Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Cavanagh, Jones, Lynch, Resnick, Roussell,
Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, City Attorney Brumwell
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called
for the purpose of conducting a work session on Fiscal Year 2022 Goal Setting Session
2 of 3.

Associates, reviewed the following section from the Leader’s Guide 2020:
Section 9: City of Dubuque Plan 2020 -2026 outcomes/objectives, short-term
challenges, and actions for Goals 1-3.
The City Council paused for dinner from 6:08 to 6:40 p.m.

There being no other business, Mayor Buol declared the meeting adjourned at 9:07
p.m.
