Present: Commissioners Phil Baskerville, Dan White
Also present: Tusdee Blus, Rick Steines
1. Approval of minutes from the April 15, 2020 meeting. Motion by Baskerville to approve the
minutes as submitted. Second by White. Motion carried 2-0.
2. Request to schedule an entrance examination for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Motion by
Baskerville to set the examination date for October 17, 2020. Commissioner White to proctor. Second
by White. Motion carried 2-0. Fire Chief Steines spoke regarding the request to eliminate the
paramedic certification or enrollment in the paramedic certification program requirement for
applicants. Motion by Baskerville to eliminate the requirement of paramedic certification or enrollment
in the paramedic certification program prior to taking the examination for Firefighter/Paramedic.
Second by White. Motion carried 2-0.
3. Request to schedule a promotional examination for the position of Police Lieutenant. Motion by
Baskerville to set the promotional examination for October 1, 2020. Second by White. Motion carried
2-0.
4. Adjournment. Motion by Baskerville to adjourn at 1:49 p.m. Second by White. Motion carried 2-0.
