The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 4:00 p.m. �
on August 12, 2020 at the Grand River Center, 500 Bell Street, 13
Room 4.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, mandates for social distancing �
and face coverings were enforced for a11 attendees. II
Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Cavanagh, Jones, Lynch,
Resnick, Roussell, Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, City
Attorney Brumwell
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special
session of the City Council called for the purpose of
conducting a work session on Fiscal Year 2022 Goal Setting I�

Lyle Sumek of Sumek Associates, provided updated documents for ,I
Sections 7 & 9, and the Dubuque Vision 2036. The City Council 'i
revisited the Vision Principles A-I and Mission Principles f'
A-I, and City of Dubuque Plan 2020-2026 Goals 1-8. �
City Council then began reviewing and ranking their top and I
high priorities for Fiscal Year 2022 and discussed �
expectations and actions from Section 10. !I
The City Council paused for dinner from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. °
