The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 6:00 p.m. �
on October 7, 2020 in the second-floor Council Chambers of the ,
Historic Federal Building, 350 W. 6th Street. �
Present: Mayar Buol; Council Members Cavanagh, Jones, Lynch,
Resnick, Roussell, Sprank; City Manager Van Milligen, City !
Attorney Brumwell (via phone/gotomeeting)
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special
session of the City Council called for the purpose of
conducting interviews for the position of Ciry Clerk. ;
ACTION ITEMS j
1. Interviews for the Position of City Clerk(Session 2 of ;
2): The City Council concluded interviews with the following I
candidates for the position of City Clerk in the following ''
order:
l."Colista(Callie) Anglese
2."Catherine (Cathy) Brandt �
3."Trish Gleason � ,�
2. Appointment to the Position of City Glerk: Following
discussion, the City Council conducted a roll-call vote ;
selecting Adrienne Breitfelder for the position of City Clerk. 'I
Adrienne Breitfedler = 5 (Resnick, Lynch, Roussell, Buol, and li
Jones); Shelley Annis = 2 (Cavanagh, Sprank). Responding to !',
questions from the City Council, City Manager Van Milligen and 'i
Strategic Workforce Equity Coordinator d�ecia Dougherty will
coordinate the offer of employment through the Human Resources
Department. � i
There being no further business, Mayor Buol declared the ��

meeting adjourned at 8:14 p.m. '
