SUBJECT: Building Services Department Changes — Work Session Request
DATE: December 1, 2020
We respectfully request a City Council work session for December 21, 2020 at 5:30
p.m., to report on changes to the Building Service Department. Specifically, the
Facilities Management Division to be placed with the Finance Department for a more
comprehensive management of City Buildings/Facilities, and the Permitting and
Inspection Services Division to be placed with the Housing & Community Development
Department to create streamlined processes for developers, contractors, and residents.
