SUBJECT: Video Highlighting New Gillig Buses
DATE: December 13, 2020
Due to COVID restrictions and the inability to conduct site visits, a video is being
presented to City Council highlighting four new Gillig Heavy Duty fixed route buses
purchased by Transportation Services using Federal Grant and local match funds at a
rate of 85/15 split. This amounted to $395,630 for each bus, split at $336,285.50
federal and $59,344.50 local match funds. The buses are currently being prepared for
road worthiness and all four will be in service soon.
