1. Approve Minutes of April 8, 2010
Motion by Takes to approve the minutes of the April 8, 2010 as written. Seconded by
Schilling. Motion carried 3 -0.
2. Request to Schedule Entrance Examination for the Position of Water Pollution
Control Plant Operator
Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommended an application deadline of May 14,
2010 at 5:00 p.m. for the position of Water Pollution Control Plant Operator with the test
being administered the week of May 24
3. Request to Schedule Entrance Examination for the Position of Water Meter
Repairworker I
Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommended an application deadline of May 14,
2010 at 5:00 p.m. for the position of Water Meter Repair Worker I with the test being
administered the first week of June.
4. Request to Schedule Examination for the Position of Custodian
Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommended an application deadline of May 21,
2010 at 5:00 p.m. for the position of Custodian with the test being administered the
week of June 7 He also stated that the test would be limited to current City
employees.
Motion by Schilling to set the application deadlines for the three examinations as
recommended and that the test dates be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 for Water Pollution
Control Plant Operator; Wednesday, June 2, 2010 for Water Meter Repairworker I; and
June 9, 2010 for Custodian. The check -in time was established at 5:30 p.m. with the
tests to be administered at 6:00 p.m.
There being no further business, upon motion the Commission adjourned at 10:35 a.m.
