Certification of Minutes of February 4,2010 meeting as presented.
New Business.
1) Circulated and reviewed revised City Plumbing Ordinance reflecting deletion of
all licensing by City of Dubuque for plumbing (insert State of Iowa Plumbing and
Mechanical Board issued license required). Also, renumber of sections to better
coordinate Ordinance reference to the International Plumbing Code. 1 by Stan Gonner,
2nd by Dan Harris to accept changes pending submittal to Board of a final draft by legal
for final approval. All in favor. Motion passed.
2) Reviewed changes to 2006 IPC. Adopted 2009 IPC in its entirety and IRC Code
with amendment. (Informed Board that the City will not adopt section P2904,
Dwelling Unit Fire Sprinkler Systems of the 2009 IRC). Motion to accept IPC 2009
and IRC with amendment, 1 by HarlanWillenborg 2 by Stan Gonner , all in favor.
Motion passed.
