This letter serves as my otification of resignation from the Carnegie -Stout Public
Library Board of Trustees when my current term expires on July 1, 2010.
It has been my honor and privilege to serve on the Board, and I hold my fellow trustees
in high esteem. The C -S PL is one of the great libraries in Iowa and much of the credit
goes to Susan Henricks, Library Director. I have enjoyed getting to know her and seeing
her in action, especially during the rigors of the Library's renovation.
I am not re- applying for personal reasons. I am confident that there are many qualified
citizens in Dubuque who will want to take my place.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve the City.
