Vehicle Damage
This is a claim in which claimant alleges that as he turned onto Roosevelt Street from
Rhomberg Avenue, he contacted the centerline, which resulted in yellow paint being
sprayed on his vehicle.
According to the report of Mike Koch, Public Works Director, this claim relates to the 2003
Pavement Marking System Project that is being done by Se[co, Inc. The contract called
for the standard form of contracts and bonds with the City, which require the contractor to
hold the City harm[ess from any claims of damage resulting from the work.
It is therefore the recommendation of Mike Koch to refer Mr. Fdedenberger to Selco, Inc.
The Legal Department concurs with this recommendation.
