Honorable Mayor Duggan and Council Members:
The Dubuque Jaycees, KDTH, KATF and KGRR Radio wish to
conduct a fireworks dispiay on Saturday, July 3, 2004 from 9:00 p.m. to 10:30
p.m, The Fire site will be located on Volunteer Road between Hawthorne and
Lime. Our rain date is July 4th.
The certificate of insurance will be sent to Fire Marshall Scott Neyens
for review of the indemnity agreement. This will be done as soon as possible.
We will again be requesting the closing of Hamilton, Kilgore and East
Roosevelt Extension from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. to public traffic.
At this time we also ask for the right of first refusal to the July 3rd date
in furore years for this event.
Thank you for your consideration on this matter and we plan to see you
at our community fireworks on July 3, 2004.
